Project: Design of utility networks for the public space of Jõhvi Education Campus
Contracting entity: Jõhvi Rural Municipality Government
The objective of the contracting entity was to create public space facilities for the Education Campus in due time and with optimum costs: a promenade extension from the beginning of Pargi street to the southern border of the city of Jõhvi, and a multifunctional stadium between the existing sports hall and Puru tee. Existing networks had to be redesigned: a substation was removed from the location of the future stadium, and low and medium voltage cables connected to it were relocated; domestic waste water pipelines and a gas line were relocated from underneath the planned stadium to a territory between the sports hall and stands; a communication cable was relocated; the storm water pipeline was reconstructed and extended; and other utility lines were relocated and (or) provided with crossing solutions. We also had to design new utility networks for the Education Campus: storm water drainage; street, spot, decorative, and object lighting throughout the whole project territory; and the supply of power, water and weak current. For the stadium, we designed the following: stadium lighting, power supply, a weak current installation together with connection pits, drainage system and storm water pipeline for the grass arena, and water supply.
